Founded by Fritz Hanson and his brother-in-law Jim McVay, Hi-Time Wine Cellars opened in 1957 at its original location on 17th and Irvine in Costa Mesa. In 1984 the Hanson brothers moved Hi-Times Wine Cellars to its current location on Ogle Street, where they built one of the largest underground temperature-controlled wine cellars in America.
Hi-Time Wine Cellars contains 24,000 square feet of retail space. Along with their all over the world. Hi-Time offers a comprehensive 25 different countries, and their walk-in tobacco humidor holds over 400 different cigar brands such as Davidoff, Cohiba, Ashton and Macanudo, as well as a large selection of pipes and fine pipe tobaccos.
Hi-Time Wine Cellars also offers a great selection of local, specialty and craft beers. Beers are not restricted to bottles only, patrons can purchase select beer by the keg too.
