The annual 23-day OC Fair is held at the OC Fair & Event Center located at 88 Fair Drive in Costa Mesa. The OC Fair has consistently been ranked as one of the top ten fairs in the country, and it is the seventh-largest fair in North America! The Los Angeles Times rated the OC Fair the number one festival in Southern California. The fair features food booths, animal exhibits, carnival rides and games, competitive exhibits, concerts and community entertainment.
While the OC Fair is well known, like most fairs, for its variety of deep-fried treats, cotton candy and other high-calorie items, The OC Fair featured fusion street food from Southern California's top gourmet food trucks.
The Pacific Amphitheatre operates its Summer Concert Series during the OC Fair, and tickets to concerts also include free admission to the Fair.
The OC Fair runs during July and August of each year, and hours of operation are Wednesdays through Fridays from noon until midnight and Saturdays and Sundays from 10 AM until midnight. The fair is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. People can sign up to receive email alerts for concert bookings and promotions or a quarterly e-newsletter called @The Fair from the OC Fair & Event Center, so that they can see special events at the Fair.
