This Orange County wine bar opened its second location in Costa Mesa March of 2012, and it's a big hit with locals. Located in the bustling CAMP shopping center, the 1,270-square-foot space serves wine from a MicroMatic wine dispenser. Its offering of 8 wines on tap is a first in Orange County. Wine Lab also features a beer dispenser with 6 taps offering local microbrews.
Grab snacks like kettle-cooked potato chips for as low as $1 and sample locally grown olives, artisan cheeses and fresh, locally baked breads. The small plate menu includes flatbread pizzas by a French quichemaker in Glendora, breads from Sadie Rose Bread Co. served with organic goat butter, and artisan cheeses paired with local honey made by Costa Mesa beekeeper Amy Cripps. Also featured are Christopher Michael Chocolates, the Costa Mesa chocolatier.
The Wine Lab has a retail shop where customers can purchase the wine, cheese, bread and honey they try at the store.
