Event Description

Vadym Kholodenko an Ukrainian pianist Born in Kyiv, Ukraine, he is the first musician in his family. He made his first appearances in the United States and in other countries. He is a winner of the gold medal at the Fourteenth van Cliburn International Piano Competition, who captured the attention of jury, audience, and critics alike for mesmerizing and exhilarating performances that brought the crowd to their feet.

Since winning the 2013 Gold Medal at the Van Cliburn International Piano Competition, Vadym Kholodenko has continually proved himself to be one of the most musically dynamic and technically gifted musicians of his generation. In addition to his many celebrated performances across the world, Kholodenko has also received critical acclaim for his recordings, including being awarded Gramophone’s “Editor’s Choice” for his recording of Grieg’s Piano Concerto and Saint-Saëns’s Piano Concerto No. 2 (2015).
