Santa Margarita Catholic High School, the premier Catholic High School in South Orange County, has one of the finest Performing and Visual Arts Departments. For one night only, the SMCHS performing and visual artists will gather to present beautiful art, dance, and music in the magnificent setting of the Reneé and Henry Segerstrom Concert Hall and lobby. The music and dance performance will showcase a wide variety of ensembles including the award winning choral program, under the direction of W. Chris Winn, world music and percussion led by Amanda Duncan, concert pianist Abe Fabella, the national championship dancers led by Danielle Dwarazeh, and the highly respected SMCHS Symphony Orchestra, under the direction of Ruben Puebla.
Prior to the concert, the lobby will feature a dazzling display of visual art, showcasing the incredible talent of students from the Visual Arts Department.
Proceeds from this concert fund the Nick Kraus Memorial Scholarship which is awarded to current music students who have demonstrated the integrity, excellence, and character befitting of Mr. Kraus.
