See unreleased, soon-to-be-released, short films, music videos, documentaries, student film and much more. It's a great chance to see the next big director or film star before they hit it big! Films are screened throughout Newport Beach and Costa Mesa. The NBFF is committed to sharing a first-class international film program and a forum for cultural understanding and enriching educational opportunities, while focusing on showcasing a diverse collection of studio and independent films from around the globe. The festival features over 350 independent and international films, nightly gala events and educational seminars. Many of the films will be screened in theaters in Costa Mesa. It all kicks off at Big Newport on Thursday, April 26 at 7:30 p.m. for a screening of American Animals. Then, at 10 p.m., the party continues in the Neiman Marcus - Bloomingdale's Courtyard at Fashion Island with a hosted bar by Tito’s Handmade Vodka, Tequila Herradura, Lagunitas and a VIP wine bar courtesy of Celebrity Cruises. During the gala, enjoy culinary tastings from 25 of Orange County’s premier restaurants and a live performances by Pacific Symphony and dance act, Academy of Villians. Costa Mesa and Newport Beach
