Les Violons du Roy was named for the French court orchestra and was founded in 1984. Under the direction of Jonathan Cohen, the minimum fifteen-member complement performs an amazing repertoire of chamber music honoring Baroque and Classical traditions with modern instruments.
Mandolinist Avi Avital joins Les Violons du Roy for this exciting performance. Avital has played with orchestras around the world including BBC Symphony Orchestra, Chicago Symphony Orchestra, Deutsche Symphonie Orchester Berlin and many more.
