In collaboration with Eco Now, OC’s first zero waste store, this event is curated to promote sustainability, reduce waste, and foster a culture of repair! The Earth Day Fix It Fair brings together professionals with various repair skills to offer FREE services to the community and save precious items from ending up in the landfill.
Whether you need an expert seamstress, jeweler, plant whisperer or handyman with various tools – our experts will work with you to try to fix anything (except electronics and relationships)!
“I am super excited to use my mad skills to mend your favorite tote, patch your jeans or customize your tee. Together we can repair, restyle or repurpose your clothes while reducing the amount of waste going into the landfills...and look good doing it!” – Emily Wallace, Eco-Sewist from Eco Now
What to bring:
Torn textiles
Broken jewelry
Wilting plants
Bikes in need of tune up
Damaged household items
All services first come, first served. Our fixers will do their best to repair your items; results may vary. No electronics, please!
