Discovery Day at Centennial Farm, Dec 16

Learn all about farm animals and agriculture at Discovery Day at OC Fair Event Center. The free, monthly event is open to the public and great for kids. Group activities may include: Radish seed planting for children to plant seeds to take to school. Chick education to learn about the chick development process (no petting). Oxen demonstration. Seasonal crops. Livestock including pigs, goats, cows, poultry, sheep and rabbits. Cow milking demonstration. Free parking and admission. Reservations are required for groups of 6 or more children.

Discovery Days at Centennial Farm are open to the public and are perfect for mom groups, homeschool groups and more. Groups may participate in the following activities:

Self-guided tours
Radish seed planting
Chick education
Oxen demonstration
Crops education
Interact with livestock
