Discovery Day at Centennial Farm – December 1
Learn all about farm animals and agriculture at Discovery Day at OC Fair & Event Center. The free, monthly event is open to the public and great for kids.
Group activities may include:
- Radish seed planting for children to plant seeds to take to school
- Chick education to learn about the chick development process (no petting)
- Oxen demonstration
- Seasonal crops
- Livestock including pigs, goats, cows, poultry, sheep and rabbits
- Cow milking demonstration (at 9:30 a.m.)
Free parking and admission.
Reservations are required for groups of 6 or more children.
