Argyros Plaza Grand Opening

Join the fun at the Grand Opening of the newest arts and social gathering place in Orange County: the Julianne and George Argyros Plaza at Segerstrom Center for the Arts!  The opening day, beginning at 11am, will include a full schedule of FREE activities and performances for the whole family. Decorating trick-or-treat bags, trick-or-treating at candy stations, and puppet shows will delight children of all ages. The Philharmonic Society of Orange County, Pacific Chorale, Pacific Symphony, South Coast Repertory and Orange County Museum of Art will also join the day-long festivities.

On the same day, the new Center for Dance and Innovation will open. Local artists, including a mariachi band, jazz ensemble and folklorico dancers will perform on the new permanent outdoor stage. The celebration continues after dark with live performances by the California bands Org?ne and Monophonics as well as the gravity-defying dance troupe BANDALOOP.
