PhoHolic Costa Mesa is a Vietnamese restaurant in Collage Culinary Experience specializing in the classic noodle soup dish, Pho. PhoHolic offers a fresh take on traditional Vietnamese cuisine, infusing every dish with the deep, spicy flavors of Vietnam. Originally established in Westminster in 1991, PhoHolic has garnered a loyal following, and its popularity continues to grow. From delectable meatballs to mouth-watering steak and brisket in your soup bowl, each flavorful option is sure to leave a lasting impression.
PhoHolic in South Coast Plaza doesn't offer side dishes, unlike its two other OC locations. Founder Gordon Pham, whose family emigrated from Vietnam in 2010, says he prefers to focus on pho only. The Pham family prepares the broth daily using beef bones broken down in-house along with carefully sourced ingredients, like fish sauce and spices, that match traditional Vietnamese flavors. To ensure freshness and flavor, Pham insists that every bowl of pho must be served within five minutes of a diner placing their order.
