The cuisine at Mah Jong’s by Chef Mike is inspired by the global cuisine Executive Chef Michael J. Doctulero grew up around in his grandparents’ kitchen. Rather than focus on a particular meal, the menu has three sections: Comfort, Timeless and Plant-Based. Comfort foods include homemade chicken soup, Mah Jong’s burger, hoisin baby back ribs and more. Timeless options, such as classic Caesar salad, prime ribeye block and seared yellowfin ahi are sure to be favorites. The Plant-Based menu offers a housemade veggie burger, salads and roasted cauliflower with spaghettini.
The ambience, complete with Mah Jong tiles, is also inspired by his grandparents. Chef Mike has worked in Orange County for over 30 years, primarily at Scott’s Seafood.
