Couples Travel
Now more than ever we could all use a change of scenery, some fresh air and an escape from reality. Costa Mesa is just a few miles from the beach, which means the average weather is usually mid-70s, perfect for spending some time outside exploring, or relaxing, whatever speed you’re feeling. Grab your partner or a friend and head to Costa Mesa for a few days.
WHAT TO DO
Head out for a morning walk to Phillz Coffee where each cup of coffee or tea is brewed to order from one of 20 custom blends from around the world. Take your joe to-go and wander through Town Center Park to the city’s hidden sculpture garden – California Scenario, also known as Noguchi Garden. Try and spot a few of the 20+ pieces of public art by following a self-guided art walk map. The beach is just a few miles from Costa Mesa. Spend a day splashing along the shoreline or cruising along the boardwalk of one of Orange County’s popular beaches.
WHERE TO EAT
Many restaurants such as Vitaly Caffe and The Den Café have patios where you can enjoy full-service dining. Try a light charcuterie plate and some wine tasting at The Wine Lab where all the wines are on tap and a flight is served in a set of beakers. Seabirds Kitchen offers an unexpected delicious twist on tacos, burgers and rice bowls – all from their vegan-inspired menu. Looking for something a bit more indulgent, try Old Vine Kitchen & Bar. Chef Mark McDonald is known for his wine pairing dinners, as well as his freshly made cinnamon roll with a cup of rich Lavazza coffee for breakfast!

Having just reopened with significant health and safety standards in place, they welcome you to shop to your heart’s content knowing your well-being is a top priority.
