Whether you’re looking for a quiet break alone or an active day out with your household, Costa Mesa parks are a great way to spend time outdoors within the city.

FAIRVIEW PARK
At 210 acres, Fairview Park has open fields and trails for horseback riding, biking and hiking. Trails lead to the beach, so you can make it a day of outdoor adventures. Please note: portions of the park remain closed. View open trails here.

TALBERT REGIONAL PARK
Talbert Regional Park is a nature preserve that includes 9 trails for hiking, jogging and biking, as well as a BMX area. Take the scenic route along the Santa Ana River Bicycle Trail to Newport Beach and the Pacific Ocean.

TEWINKLE PARK
If you’re looking for a relaxing day in nature, TeWinkle Park is for you. Take a walk around the lake, listen to the calming waterfall and feed the wild ducks. Traveling with a pup? TeWinkle Park is also home to Costa Mesa Bark Park, so everyone can enjoy a day at the park.

ESTANCIA PARK
Home of the Diego Sepulveda Adobe (the Estancia), Estancia Park is a great spot to visit for history lovers. In addition to the replica of the 1820 adobe, the skeleton of a mastodon was discovered in 1962. Although the adobe is closed during COVID-19, the park boasts lucious trees and paths.
