Cattle Drive

Saturday, Aug. 8

 
Cows will roam the streets of Costa Mesa toward the OC Fair on this day. Cowboys and cowgirls on horseback will escort more than one hundred cows. Click here to download the Support Horses and Cattle Drive Route Map and see times and locations of the event.

5K Fun Run

Sunday, Aug. 9

 
Everyone is invited to lace up their shoes and run a 5K race on Sunday, Aug. 9 at 8 a.m. Presented by OC Marathon, the race offers a commemorative finisher’s medal, race T-shirt and a one-time entry ticket to the OC Fair. To register and sign up, click here.

The B-52s / The English Beat

Friday, Aug. 14

Known as “The World’s Greatest Party Band,” The B-52s has been offering dance-rock tunes for more than 35 years. The English Beat is a revival band founded in Britain in 1978, fusing ska, pop, soul, reggae and punk rock. They both perform at 7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 14. To buy tickets, click here.

Steel Pulse / The Wailers

Saturday, Aug. 15

 
Grammy Award-winning Steel Pulse has been offering reggae for more than 35 years. The Wailers, meanwhile, are a legendary Jamaican band that performed with Bob Marley promoting peace, love and quality through reggae and Rastafari music since 1969.
