ECOmmunity, an earth day celebration at the LAB and the CAMP, featured live music, eco-friendly vendors, raffles, prizes, sustainable living information and more. As people strolled through the SoBeCa district and shops, they stopped to chat with the specialty vendors. Some gathered information, others opted for face paint, while many just found a seat and enjoyed the warm spring sun.

Travel in Style Fashion Show at South Coast Plaza
Capella Hotels and Alaska Airlines teamed up with Saks South Coast Plaza to present the “Travel in Style” fashion show last night, and Travel Costa Mesa got an exclusive invitation to see spring’s latest arrivals.
Displaying the newest spring trends from top designers, the show was fun and lively, offering guests the opportunity to mingle with Saks, Alaska Airlines and Capella Hotels representatives. Saks served cocktails and delicious appetizers were provided by AnQi by Crustacean.

Bug Stock 2013 at the OC Fair & Event Center in Costa Mesa
The 2013 K-Earth 101 Bug Stock rolled into the OC Fair & Event Center this weekend. Thousands of classic Volkswagens were on display for guests as the Orange County Marketplace was abuzz with the sound of revving engines and friendly banter.

On the last Tuesday of each month the SoBeCa district in Costa Mesa turns into an open-house of art, live performances and entertainment. The main hubs of the SoBeCa district, an acronym meaning South On Bristol, Entertainment, Arts, Culture, are the progressive shopping centers the LAB and the CAMP.

Designer Franco Sarto Visits Nordstrom at South Coast Plaza
Designer Franco Sarto, whose namesake shoes are sold world-wide, made a personal appearance at Nordstrom at South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa to introduce his new Spring 2013 collection.
Sarto was all smiles as he met with fans of his work. With two models wearing his shoes, an interpreter and a collection of sketches, Sarto shook hands, answered questions and signed autographs for fans. He effortlessly signed his famous sketches as he engaged with fans and passersby. Read More
