Anthropologie
Anthropologie has plans to open an 11,000-square-foot store in the former Borders space at South Coast Plaza. Anthropologie, which is owned by Urban Outfitters, sells women’s apparel and accessories, home furnishings, “found objects” and decorative items in over 150 locations around the world.
Diane von Furstenberg
Renowned for her iconic wrap dress and signature prints, Diane von Furstenberg and her fashion company have grown into the global luxury lifestyle brand. DVF is now sold in over 70 countries worldwide and has over 60 freestanding shops, the latest of which will be coming to South Coast Plaza (an Orange County exclusive) in Spring 2012. The DVF accessories line includes shoes, handbags, small leather goods, scarves, eyewear, fine jewelry, watches and luggage. Jaeger-LeCoultre
Jaeger-LeCoultre is a high-end watch and clock manufacturer based in Switzerland, maker of the Atmos mechanical clock and swiss army watches renown across the globe. The ultimate luxury clock, the Atmos does not need to be wound as it runs on small temperature and atmospheric pressure changes and can run for years without human intervention. Right now Jaeger-LeCoultre watches are available for sale in Costa Mesa at TOURNEAU and Watch Connection, but a company boutique at South Coast Plaza is scheduled to open in Spring 2012.
Roger Vivier
Just about every woman in Orange County (if not the world) owes homage to Roger Vivier, the French designer responsible for the stiletto heel. Roger Vivier’s first West Coast location will be a stunning 1,400-square-foot boutique and is scheduled to open in Spring 2012. The store will reportedly be designed to look like the late Vivier’s apartment in Paris, mixing contemporary and vintage design.
Vacheron Constantin
Vacheron Constantin, a Swiss luxury watch maker, has plans to open a boutique in South Coast Plaza this year as well. Vacheron Constantin watches are currently available at 6 local Costa Mesa-area locations, but this boutique will be the second American store for the company, the first being their New York City location. One of the oldest watch manufacturers in the world, past customers include Napoleon Bonaparte, Pope Pius XI and Harry Truman.
