It’s the Last Week of the OC Fair!

The last week of the OC Fair will be wild with the return of theWild West Turkey Stampede in the Livestock Show Ring with free daily shows at 2 p.m., 4 p.m., 6 p.m. & 8 p.m.

Other special livestock exhibits include Oasis Camel Dairy Exhibit and daily demonstrations, Goldenwest Game Breeders Bird Barn, Urban Chickens Exhibit and Horsing Around. Make sure to also take a look at this seatgeek promo code and other discounts on your favorite products.

Here is a glance at more events going on this last week (August 10-14) at the Fair. We can’t believe it’s almost over!  *sniff*

Wednesday, August 10 (Open Noon-Midnight)

  • Lindsey Stirling / Carah Faye in the Pacific Amphitheatre (7:30 p.m.)
  • Faux Fighters / Green Today – Tributes to Foo Fighters and Green Day in The Hangar (7:30 p.m.)
  • Orange Crush Demolition Derby in the Action Sports Arena (8 p.m.)
  • We Care Wednesday School Supply Drive: One free admission and one carnival ride per person with donation of new school supply items valued at $5 or more. Receipt required. (Noon-3 p.m.)
  • $30 Unlimited Rides & 2 Free Games (Sold until 5 p.m. and valid until 8 p.m.)
  • Community Flag Salute: Representatives from Fullerton, Lake Forest and San Clemente will lead Fairgoers in singing the National Anthem at 12:30 p.m. at The Hangar and residents can enjoy a $2 discount on admission with a Fair coupon available at their local city halls or libraries.

Thursday, August 11 (Open Noon-Midnight)

  • Chris Young / Ruthie Collins in the Pacific Amphitheatre (7:30 p.m.)
  • Jumping Jack Flash – A Tribute to the Rolling Stones in The Hangar (8:30 p.m.)
  • Motor Home Madness Demolition Derby in the Action Sports Arena (8 p.m.)
  • Kids Day: Guests 12 and younger are free all day.
  • $30 Unlimited Rides & 2 Free Games (Sold until 5 p.m. and valid until 8 p.m.)
  • $2 Taste of Fair Food: Get a taste of Fair food for only $2 a sample from Noon-4 p.m.
  • Community Flag Salute: Representatives from Fountain Valley, Laguna Woods and Seal Beach will lead Fairgoers in singing the National Anthem at 12:30 p.m. at The Hangar and residents can enjoy a $2 discount on admission with a Fair coupon available at their local city halls or libraries.
  • Chef Challenge – InstaYum: Watch local culinary professionals show off their chops in a series of live cooking challenges to be the most Instagram- or photo-worthy dish 5 p.m. on OC Promenade Stage. Amateur foodies can enter to be the guest judge by posting their best sweets food photo and including #InstaYum #ocfair. Winner is selected Wednesday 4 p.m.
  • Farmer’s Market: A California-certified farmers’ market where genuine farmers sell fruits, nuts and vegetables directly to the public. The Farmer’s Market will be held in Lot E from 8 a.m.-Noon before the Fair opens. Free admission and parking for the Farmer’s Market does not include Fair admission or parking.

Friday, August 12 (Open Noon-Midnight)

  • The B-52s / The Aquabats in the Pacific Amphitheatre (7:30 p.m.)
  • Dead Man’s Party – Only A Lad in The Hangar (8:30 p.m.)
  • Damsels of Destruction Demolition Derby in the Action Sports Arena (8 p.m.)
  • Seniors Day: Guests 60 and older receive $2 off Senior Admission and receive free Ferris wheel and merry-go-round rides all day.
  • $2 Rides & $2 Games: Every ride and every game in both the adult carnival and children’s carnival is only $2 each until 4 p.m.
  • OC Fair Express: Receive a coupon for $3 general admission when using a special route directly to the Fair from 9 different OCTA transit locations ($2 for one-way and $4 for round-trip). Noon – Midnight. Visit ocfairexpress.com for transit locations and times.

Saturday, August 13 (Open 10 a.m.-Midnight)

  • Space Oddity – A David Bowie Retrospective in The Hangar (8:30 p.m.)
  • Emergency Pursuit Derby / Orange County Police Canine Association Demonstration Show in the Action Sports Arena (1 p.m.)
  • Orange Crush Demolition Derby in the Action Sports Arena (8 p.m.)
  • Sweet As Honey Contest: Fairgoers create their best savory or sweet dish using honey as the only sweetener. (Live judging at 1 p.m.)
  • Rise & Shine: $3 general admission (10-11 a.m.)
  • Free Parking & Shuttle Service from the Experian parking structure located off Anton Blvd. off the Bristol St. exit of the northbound 405 freeway. 10 a.m.-1 a.m.
