The holidays at Segerstrom Center for the Arts and South Coast Repertory are synonymous with festive holiday performances. This year features some legendary acts, programs for kids, a classical twist on holiday music, a long-standing Costa Mesa tradition and much more. Fiesta Navidad with Mariachi Los Camperos de NatiCano performs on December 4 in the Renee and Henry Segerstrom Concert hall. The Grammy award-winning group celebrates the holidays with mariachi and takes guests on a festive musical tour through the various regions of Mexico. For tickets, click here.
Legends on rock ‘n’ roll and “surf-rock” pioneers, The Beach Boys perform songs from their classic “Christmas Album” as well as some of their other hits for a one-night-only performance of their “Beach Boys Christmas Show” in Segerstrom Hall. Click here for tickets.

Superstar LeAnn Rimes will perform songs from her Christmas album “What a Wonderful World” along with some of her well-known hits. Rimes’ amazing vocal talent will be backed by the world-class Pacific Symphony for three shows starting December 19. Click here for tickets and show times.
Other Pacific Symphony holiday shows include Handel’s “Judas Maccabaeus” on December 1, Tchaikovsky’s Piano Concerto No.1 with pianist Joyce Yang December 12-14, Nutcracker for Kids on December 14, the annual Holiday Organ Spectacular on December 17 and Handel’s Glorious “Messiah” on December 15.
The Pacific Chorale will showcase their incredible choral music that really enhances the spirit of the season with a performance of “Tis the Season” December 22-23. Conductor John Alexander will lead guest artists, the Southern California Children’s Chorus and members of Pacific Symphony in a celebration of the holidays.
One of the most celebrated Holiday traditions in Costa Mesa is the annual production of Charles Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol.” This year marks the 34th year that the classic Christmas story has been performed for South Coast Repertory audiences. Many of the same actors appear each year, including Hal Landon, Jr., who has performed the role of Scrooge since the first production.
