John Wayne Airport is owned and operated by the County of Orange. Located in Santa Ana, 35 miles south of Los Angeles. John Wayne Airport is one of only two airports in Orange County to accommodate general aviation and the only commercial service airport in the county. In 1998 7.4 million passengers were served at John Wayne Airport.

American West Airlines and American Airlines have daily, non-stop flights to Phoenix and Dallas/FT. Worth respectively, offering connections to more than 300 domestic and international destinations.
